Happy 28th!
Brothers
One Week Old!

This week has just flown by, I can't believe Mason is already one week. Everyone is adjusting still, I have been pretty emotional this time. As the week has gone by and I have adjusted its getting better. Its been tough Ben went back to work on Monday and then as soon as he is done he out working on the house, which I am super happy about but its just been hard... Thanks to my wonderful MIL and great friends they have helped so much... Today Mason's cord fell off, that was the quickest for any of my kids... It has always taken at least 2 weeks so I was shocked today...
Yesterday my wonderful friend Kelsy took Mason's first pictures. They turned out wonderful I just have a few right now so I can't wait to see the final results..

Also today was a big day, it was my first real outing with the kids and also my sister-in-law Heather was able to come into town ( she lives in New York) to see the kids. She is an amazing Aunt and we are so happy to have her home for the weekend...

Our first few days..
Well the past few days have been wonderful. I love Mason beyond words! My emotions have been all over the place though.. Ben has been great with helping around the house and keeping things up while my body is recovering but he has also been working on our new house.. He tries to wait until Logan is asleep and then he heads back out to the house to get some work done.. Boy am I ready to have a normal house again! I have been trying to get to know Mason and what he likes and doesn't and also work with Logan on how to be "soft" with him.. Here are a few pictures from these past couple days..

Mason's Birth Story
We started our Wednesday July 21 very early. We arrived at the hospital around 4:45 for my induction. We got all settled in and I was lucky to have my dear friend Kelli is a nurse there and was able to prep me for my day! The got the pictocin started and Dr. Hannah broke my water around 7:30. I started having contractions about every 2 min, they weren't to painful at the point. Finally around 10am the nursed checked me and I was still only at a 2 1/2 cm... Disappointed I was... Then from there it is kinda a blur because it seemed to go so quick.. The contractions started to get very painful and longer, Mason's heart rate kept dropping so they decided an internal monitor would be best, she checked me again and I was at 3cm, then around 12:00 I decided I was ready for my epidural. By the time the anesthesia dr. arrived I was thinking he couldn't stick me any sooner!! Ha... I was at 5cm by this point. Unfortunately my epidural didn't fully kick in ever =( It pretty much numbed my legs and took the edge off for about 30 min but once I was ready to push it was gone... But thankfully I was complete 10cm by 1:20 or so and ready to push, 3 big pushes and our little guy was here!! He was perfect and I was overwhelmed with tears,,,, happy tears of course! He was here at 1:31 pm weighing 8lbs 40z and 20in long...
Pure Bliss
My emotions are all over the place tonight... As I sit here at 11:30 at night when I should be sleeping I have to say I am absolutely overwhelmed with complete happiness!!! We welcomed our new little guy Mason Reid yesterday ! He is perfect in every way, he has completed our family. I never thought I would have enough love in my heart for 4 amazing kids and each time my love grows and grows... We are so blessed to have 4 healthy , beautiful babies!
